Intramural Softball

This semester I was asked to join an intramural softball team which has been nothing but a blast. Its super easy to get a group of kids together and play two games of softball a week just for the fun of the game. Most of us have had some experience with a bat and ball but there are a few kids who are just trying out for their first time. It was really exciting yesterday seeing my tiny little friend, who has never payed in her life, hit a ball right past second base and into the outfield. She got out on the next play but hit two runners in. She didn't realize that she had even done anything good but we all made sure she knew it. Intramural sports are a great way to get involved, meet new people and play sports that you maybe have played once upon a time but aren't fortunate enough to continue playing into college. Luckily MSU offers tons and tons of different intramural sports so everyone can have something just for them!
